With fair judges, I think Robinson would win a clear decision, he's just too big a hitter for Monzon. Probably something like 9-5-1 for Sugar Ray with maybe a knockdown included.

I think a lot of people when thinking of Robinson as a middleweight, think of fighting Basilio and Fullmer when he was well past it. I think a younger Robinson gets it done. If an old Griffith can give Monzon that much trouble, Robinson has to have a decent chance. Would certainly be a competitive fight.

A dream matchup for me. Two of my all time favs. (Monzon especially). Heart wants Monzon. Head says SRR. He was just damn great.
