Ronnie “The Shark” Clark bites back

Post by daviddee »

Looks like Ronnie is fed up of all the rubbish that comes out of Zelfa’s mouth. Boxing is fake and he is asking for a chance by a big promoter to show what a real fighting man can do. I’m sure everyone would like to see the Zelfa rematch. There’s also the controversial loss to Martin J Ward where a lot of people believed Ronnie should of got the victory. Or of course Jono Carroll all with Eddie Hearn.. What about rematch with Cacace good victory over Bowen and stopped Ronnie in a close fight.. There’s also Archie Sharp. Ronnie believes he beats them all hopefully he gets the chance to show everyone. One thing is for sure he’s in it for the fans he wants to give all of us real fights

In terms of being rough tough places to live, where are the worst places outside the usual places in Glasgow?
What's Dundee like as a place?

I've only been a few times and it was decent. Probably has it's rough areas like anywhere else though. Lassie i know went to uni there and she loved it. HoS would be the best person to give you the low down on Dundee :TU:

The injury he had was all linked, in hindsight he should have got the operation at start. I am biased so I will say that before I post my views but maybe one person may see things similar. So Ronnie turned over from kickboxing and has learnt on the job, the skills that Ronnie has are not really something that is age related. I look at someone like sean dodd and I believe ronnie is a higher level than that. Ronnie is tough, can take a shot well , can hit hard till the very end of a fight and 100 percent is fitter than everyone he goes in with. He has a natural fitness that is ridiculous. While studying I brought him in for fitness testing which was against other athletes from many sports and he blew them all out the water. Zelfa believes he has learnt his lesson etc but Woodstock and mccorry are both orthodox fighters, below the level of ronnie, being a southpaw is a major problem for most, at 9 stone 4 zelfa will not hit hard enough. The age of these fighters like martin j ward etc they already have their man strength and sadly they dont have that element to game. Nice to watch but easy to walk down. I want to see Ronnie get a nice little 6 rounder in and go straight back into it. Hes proved people wrong already, a highly decorated amateur in MJW and he more than hung with him, they had MJW winning first 6 but switch is on mute, dont listen to darren barker(wards best mate) and the last 6 for ronnie with the knockdown was alot more one sided than the first 6.

As for not working with FW hes not signed to him, and even when he was signed there was never any management or backing there. Ronnie is a name, a former champion, would get good ranking points for wheover so brings something to the table, the problem is in boxing most people dont want the test. Ronnie comes from Dundee which in truth isnt a boxing city, there is zero backing and a fairly negative place. Promotional wise ronnie will be in the away corner starting off points down.

You were the dogs body. Skills included photo shopping for posters, social media PR and spamming boxing forums. Quite weird role you played. That alongside the visual presentation it could have went either way for you :)

Gary you were raging cause david outed your name. 99.9 percent of the stuff we say we dont care we have a laugh, or are the exact same in person which you know for a fact is true as you seen it. You on the other hand can you say the same? We dont pretend to know it all and in honesty the day ronnie walks away from boxing I reckon be the same for us, it's a joke. The boxers and most trainers are brand new it's the guys behind the scene full of self importance. You wanted to be that man but sadly you were Paul Grahams shoe shiner. Nothing more, nothing less.

Ronnie needs to become more marketable and quick. The drama with his ex didn't help his image.

Hes 35 to be honest and the marketing etc is pointless. People know how the media works so ronnie is past all the court stuff, sadly these things happen when u refuse legal representation out with the country haha. zelfa will need to take the fight soon as ronnie is fit or he wont live it down. The way social media is I believe eddie will look to force it. I think Ronnie's chance comes in that rematch and it's the only fight to make for him.

You did you liked to put nonsense up on here and when I said your name was Gary Reilly you didn’t like that. Never hide behind trying to screw over real fighters and jump on their bandwagon.. I would say I used to think you were alright but I would be lying.. Any promoter who rips off fighters or helps promoters doing that are scum in my book. There was no need for your comment on here but when your seen in person you start playing a game of heads down thumbs up!!
