David Haye to return ?

Post by Controversial »

Apparently Haye is saying he is back to full fitness and would return to fight AJ or Fury :KO:

I heard him say he wanted to be a world champion again, but in Poker.

Has he actually mentioned boxing?

Here's hoping he does return, and takes his most embarrassing and physically punishing loss yet. :TU:

If AJ and Fury unify there will be a big queue, like a 3 year wait for a shot.
If the title gets split 4 ways everyone and their dog will get a shot.

I was half watching an interview today with Haye on behind the gloves and it didnt seem he was serious about it. Mentioned something along the lines of any version of David Haye would struggle against AJ or Fury from their last fights. Did not seem he was talking up a fight at all.

Admittedly wasnt paying full attention apart from when he said Froch is hilarious, a very funny man. :KO: :KO:

Without the hard training it's the first time he's been injury-free for maybe a decade, so it's only natural he ponders how much his renewed fitness would offset his age. But this isn't someone who retired a bit on the young side unfulfilled — he had a complete career and slid badly at the end of it. His glory years at cruiser are still there on video, and he'll never recapture them.

Guys, it's a non-story. If you look at his full quote it's pretty obvious he isn't serious, just classic case of media putting a spin on it:

'The only one that I would do it for is the winner of AJ and Tyson Fury because that would be No1 vs No1.

'That's probably the only one, but not really. It's a lot to go through.

Wouldn't be surprised if the governing bodies stiffed Fury again like the IBF did after the Wlad win. We ended up with Charles bloody Martin as a belt holder

I have more chance of shitting coal than Haye fighting again let alone fighting AJ or Fury. Its just a 'I want to feel relevant' attention seeking story. the media have nothing to write about at the moment so fill up the free newspapers with this rubbish. I read as far as the bit when he was called the 'former British heavyweight champion' . I think that tells you everything

haye would get in the ring with anyone for yet another hyped up pile of crap non contest like he did against klitchko ..

How long does he expect to last v a true HW like AJ / Fury when he got totally humiliated by Bellew who is only a CW

He just confirmed how much of total muppet I thought he was :shame:
