Just heard from a relaible source that Dave Garside is gonna bid for Graham Earl v Kevin Bennett and stage it in Hartlepool. Garside and Fannan put on what by all accounts was a cracking show without Sky in November (when Michael Hunter also featured against Marc Callaghan) and the pair were well happy with how things panned out financially. Great to see these lads not being dictated to by the powers that be and putting on fights the public want to see. A pal reckons the last two shows at the Borough Hall were sellouts and big Dave is very confident of winning the bid. Sky missing a treat if you ask me as both Bennett and Hunter are crowd pleasers.

So what do you reckon? Earl v Bennett looks a very tasty trade fight.

I assume both belts will be on the line. If Earl is successful then he would have a big strangle hold over the British scene with victories over Vanzie, Murray and then Bennett.

Good match, both deserve their shot at glory.

Looks a cracker. Hope it comes off. Benny has come on loads in the last year.
