Never can tell anymore if a Floyd comeback announcement is legit or not.

Every couple months he says he's coming back.

Yeah. Honestly I don't think he even claims these things. It seems like little nothing Boxing websites will just throw stuff like this out there just desperately trying to get clicks.

It would be too risky a fight for a guy coming out of retirement.
And Broner has done little to deserve that kind of payday.
Broner doesn't have much heart so Floyd could win but.........

More like Broner and his team started the rumors since his account is drying up. And putting him in some relevans since he has none for the moment.

Floyd should have fought GGG for his 50th fight. I actually thought he could have won.

No way in hell. Golovkin is too big, too strong, and knows how to box and use his strength. He also knows how to jab and box.

Mayweathers legs arent what they used to be and werent since after the mosley fight. Ggg jabs well, cuts the ring off well, and has a great chin.

Mayweather should have moved up and fought taylor after he struggled with cory spinks. Floyd would have been the mw champion. But he didnt have the guts

Lol, that's like saying loma doesn't have the guts to fight Crawford. Though bud is obviously on a much higher level than Taylor. I guess Porter would be a better analogy.

He's not a Middleweight. He dominated across 5 weight classes. Sorry he hurt your feelings, and didn't just keep fighting bigger guys until one of them beat him.

The fact that people act as if he didn't do enough or had something still to prove is f*cking ludicrous.

Has to be the first time Taylor and Mayweather have ever been within the same sentence.

Hurt my feelings? It was a missed opportunity. Fighters in the past went well above their weights. It isnt unprecedented.

That was a truly ridiculous response.

Floyd went well above his weight. He started at 130 pounds, and fought up to 154 pounds. 24 pounds ain't big enough for you?

There's numerous 130 pound Champions that never even made it up to 140 pounds successfully. Why don't you sh*t on them?

6 more LBS and multi millions for fighting GGG. And if he lost, no disgrace.

If he lost he doesn't fight Conor McGregor in a gimme bout for $100 Million dollars.

Now maybe it was worth losing for $20 Million, and not making $100 Million to fight an easy opponent, but I highly doubt it.

He couldn't have managed his career any better if he tried.

Does it matter? Boxing historians far and wide don't rank him as the best ever. Maybe a few naive fans who believe Boxing didn't exist prior to 1985 rank him as the best ever, but that's about it.

He doesn't have to prove he's actually the best ever because nobody really believes it anyway.

And frankly, even if he did. What could he ever possibly do to appease all the critics and naysayers?

Let's just say he beat Golovkin, Taylor, Andre Ward. There's still be people sh*tting on him, and saying he cherry picked.

He's not the best ever. Never was, never will be. But he's had the most successful career ever in terms of money.

He really couldn't have done anymore with his career.

Some people will always hate it that he didn't just keep pushing his limits until he lost, but that's their problem. Not his.

It was heavily talked about the 2nd time Taylor poached a belt from sam soliman. You can google it. During taylors first reign it was mentioned but not seriously discussed
