Favourite Entrances...?

Post by Stuarty »

Was just about to put on Groves v Eubank to rematch but found the ring walks first to set the tone. Groves entrance was top class. Rolling Stones then Prodigy :yay:

His entrance in the Froch rematch was epic as well. Kasabian i think :TU:

Loved Froch v Bute as well. No Easy Way Out :OhYes:

Roy Jones Jr.'s ring entrance for the Clinton Woods bout was memorable.

I like Jean Pascal's ring entrance for the 2nd Hopkins fight a lot.

Both entrances with Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 2 were memorable.

The little video montage, and all that stuff that accompanied his entrance was cool too.

Yeah remember Vitali coming in to something similar and it was all ex world champs saying a little line as he was walking in. Might have been his comeback fight against Peter?

Naz and that big ringlet that he came in For Barrera too altho a fan chucked beer at him too.

The one that really made the hairs stand on end was Froch entrance in the first groves fight. Came out to what’s the story morning glory. Crescendos when he walks through the ropes. Groves is stood there like a boss and Froch goes to his corner. Froch’s brother then gets in Groves’s face with the belt.

I like the entrance of Tommy Morrison to "Bad to the Bone" in the Bentt fight. Unfortunately, Tommy was woefully upset there.

Robert Helenius recently had great entrances in the badass cloak to the Nordic music.

Any entrance where there’s no faffing around and the boxer is in the ring within 2 minutes is my favourite.

Imagine a boxer tripping like that and twisting his ankle or something. Promoter’s nightmare.

I always loved that entrance for Trinidad too. When the Latin Music gets popping the crowd starts jumping to the beat, it's like a party at a nightclub or something, and he had the crowd in the palm of his hand.

It was pretty awesome.

Gotta be this bird i banged round the back of an essex nightclub in the late 90s. Went straight in, no worries, like sticking my hampton into a bucket of custard...oh wait a min, that's not the type of entrance meant here is it...

Tyson v Spinks. Just a menacing force of nature that had pure destruction on his mind

Spinks looked scared to death. It would have taken a man with massive cajones to have stood in the ring and seen that coming towards you and not be intimidated.

I imagine the atmosphere was crackling

I remember Eubank getting completely freaked out when a dwarf dressed as a leprechaun jumped in the ring and coated him with glitter
