Greatest pressure fighters
This style often gets labelled as limited and perhaps not good for longevity

Re: Greatest pressure fighters
Joe Frazier is the first, who came to my mind. Just an unstoppable wrecking machine.

Smokin' Joe. Ultimate pressure fighter.
Re: Greatest pressure fighters
Also Jake LaMotta; Rocky Marciano; Dwight Qawi; JCC; Henry Armstrong those are some of the guys that didn't let you breathe.
Re: Greatest pressure fighters
Hagler tended to just wear opponents down. He generally didnt have one punch, first round KO type power. But he just piled on, round after round.
To step out of ATGs for a bit, I think Shawn Porter may use pressure about as well as I've ever seen anyone.
It's really his top skill.
A guy of a similar nature I always admired was Juan Diaz. He wasn't the fastest, strongest or most skillful fighter but he tended to wear guys down with unrelenting activity.

Dempsey, and Tyson. Holyfield could fight in different ways and at times was a great pressure fighter.
Not a particularly hard puncher but Gene Fullmer was a great pressure fighter.

Henry Armstrong was the first name to spring to mind when I read this thread’s heading.

Re: Greatest pressure fighters
Fenech is a great shout
Saw a fair few of his "prime" fights as a teenager and he never gave his opponents a moment's rest, even other decent pressure fighters seemed to find Jeff too hot to handle
Although he is half-forgotten and not nearly as revered as Jeff Fenech because he lacks the titles and huge wins, I always had a soft spot for the way the very decent Scouse WBC Featherweight champ Paul 'Hoko' Hodkinson was always trying to make things happen. Such a positive, busy fighter.
Paul was constantly right at his opponents - almost nullifying whatever they could bring by compelling them to defend - and he had two belting fights with the bullet-hard Marcos Villasana which are well worth looking up.
Paul was extremely prone to cuts and bad, fight shortening swellings anywhere around the eyes...which meant that his "come right at you style" and a slightly leaky defence ensured his title-level fights were often cliff-hangers.
A fighter I really enjoyed at the time and who was absolutely about bringing the pressure.

Chillin' Charley Riley, Frankie Warren, Curtis Parker
Re: Greatest pressure fighters
Early Tyson. The way he went to the body like no one else...
George Chuvalo. Used it to go the distance with Ali but met a similar fate as Joe Frazier using it against Foreman.
I think you could include Marcos Maidana in this one.
