English National Championships (ABAs) format

I wonder if anyone can help.

I was browsing through the ABA archives on http://www.amateur-boxing.strefa.pl today and noticed that 2013 makes mention of regional rounds (Quarters and Semis) but 2014 onwards do not. Were the regional rounds scrapped in 2014? And pre-2013 was it always the case that preliminary rounds were conducted regionally. With the North winner fighting the South winner in the championship final?

Not the same since it was best 2 from England v best from Wales and Scotland in the semis.
