Edwin Rosario vs Greg Haugen

Post by AntonioMartin »

Circa 1986 when they were both champions after Chapo beat Bramble and Haugen beat Jimmy Paul?

IMO Haugen don't beat Paul in his fight.

Rosario would stop Greg in 6-8.

Correct on both points. Paul won a close but clear decision, IMO. Same with the first Camacho fight. I kinda thought the TV boys liked Haugen

I like this matchup. I would say Rosario overall is superior. However he could be inconsistent. Haugen was very underrated and Edwin is not a slickster or a finesse fighter. Haugen could pull an upset on this at his very best. Rosario was a deceiving hard puncher and was very awkward. Haugen is not a big puncher but had underrated boxing skills. If i was put on the spot i would go Rosario but i would not bet on it.
