RIP Alan Minter

I would like to inform you that former World Middleweight Champion Alan Minter, who won and defended against Vito Antuofermo and lost his title to "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler has passed away at aged 69 from cancer.

Such sad news and only 69...I believe he lost a battle with Cancer. Just watching his 2nd fight with Antuofermo with my mum who couldn't remember him though she once did (old age). What a thrilling fighter he was ....RIP great warrior..... :salut:

Minter was a rare guy who seemed taller than his listed height. I loved the second Antuofermo bout !
