Morrison was better from fundamental and technical side, he also was faster. Bonavena was much tougher, more durable and had a better chin, although he could be hurt and Morrison's clean punch could put Oscar out. Morrison could cautiously outbox Bonavena to a dec win. If Morrison would brawl, he would either stop Oscar early or be outlasted and stopped himself later.
