Sugar Ray Leonard Exhibition (1983)

I was reading his autobiography the other day, and on page 217 he mentions that about a year after he announced his retirement and some 22 months after his last pro fight.
he was talked into doing a six-round exhibition
against 2 opponents (3 rounds each)
Odell Leonard and Herman Epps
at Andrews Air Force Base inside Hanger 13, on December. 13. 1983.
It was part of A HOLIDAY SALUTE TO THE ARMED FORCES.
sounds like some type of Network TV special to me.
does anyone have any info about this ?

Only exactly what you read..IIRC he used the occasion to officially announce his 1984 comeback.

There was a lot of press there too, so even if it didn't air as a television special ,surely someone video-taped the event (?).

his comeback fight was originally was scheduled for February but post-poned until May 1984.
