I would add also all the Olympic gold medallists - that is boxing, too.
That's a bunch of South Africans from 1st half of last century + Robert Wangila & Hocine Soltani.
From pro ranks I'd also consider (didn't notice them mentioned yet) :

Nino LaRocca, officially Cheik Tidjani Sidibe, born in Mauretania. Just as Italian as f ex Sumbu Kalambay.
