I expect Canelo fighting nothing but top fighters like Benavidez, Charlo, Plant or Callum Smith. :box:

If Canelo is a free agent, he's still gonna get the money from GBP/DAZN (from that contract) ?

And if Canelo wants to fight GGG, would DAZN accept it?

If he wanted to fight Yildirim December just to tune up and pick up his first real 168 belt then id be ok with it. then real fights May and Sep next year.

If he was to wait till may to fight him id say that its wasting prime and Canelo is way way way above Yildirims levle and its a shame to waste time on him.

Realistically in a normal non pandemic scenario, Canelo is better than belts now, should just take Giant fights where he can find them with or without belts.

Canelo will be courted by ESPN, Showtime and Fox.

And perhaps the Mexican may even consider establishing a new contract with DAZN.

The outcome of these negotiations will inevitably affect Canelo’s choice of opponent for his very next outing.

So I seriously doubt that Canelo will be able to adhere to the deadlines stipulated by the WBC for the Yildrim fight.

Canelo’s been training very intensely recently, so he’s ready to go and engage in a bout at short notice, but negotiating a new network deal will not be a quick and easy process.
