Did anyone else know what Lartey was saying in the presser?

He should have left his coloured beard.

All I heard was ..

'No Party, no Lartey'.. or is it 'No Lartey, no Party' ??

Even Fabio didn't know what do say.

Just over 4 grand. Never gonna happen, but I can see an argument in each fight for a possible upset.

A put a couple of pound on a double for Lartey and Little by KO, 240-1, as well as backing each man separately. It's not like Wardley or Babic have looked like worldbeaters, and it's less than ten quid so just a bit of fun.

Little can box a bit, he might be a shout for points.

I have gone for some late round ko for Little as well. Rounds 6, 7 and 8. 100 to 1

Probably end up being same as Little, get smashed out. However Babic is a small guy and he has proven nothing really so far. He might be blowing out his harris bybround 4 or 5

Big Little should clinch and lean heavily on him. Good luck.

Wardley looked decent. The most convincing win over Lartey up to the date? Anyway, the more often fighters lose, the more decisively they do it.

Looked to me more like he was already finished by that stiff flush jab not long before and the the right hand just knocked him over

It definitely looked suspect. Lartey was seemingly hurt by jabs and then dumped onto the floor by a blocked punch. He looked like he was either very confused and hurt on the floor or he was doing a fantastic job of acting hurt.

Another dubious looking finish but it was the left hook that done the damage, the right landed on the glove, Lartey was wobbled and backing up from jabs just before, it did look dodgy but Lartey was legit hurt, maybe he was hurt in sparring in the lead up??

He reminded me of Paul briggs after he took a jab from Danny Green and got hurt. Many called that a fix. I'm not too sure as I never followed up on the fight but Briggs definitely looked "hurt". The left hook landed but it didn't look to have much on it. Lartey was spread eagled on the floor and looked like he didn't know what was going on as the medics tried to help him recover. If he was legit hurt, he might need to get some brain scans after this.

He put on a banging entrance did Lartey, to his credit.

Briggs had been out the ring for 2 1/2 years before the Green fight, he'd retired in 2007 with a nervous system condition being given as the reason. Quite possibly he had suffered a brain injury from 2 epic fights with Adamek.
He was apparently getting bashed in sparring badly for the Green fight, looked awful , word got out and lots of money went on Green for early KO. It probably didn't help the fix theory that a biker gang put a huge amount on a 1st round KO.

The clues were there beforehand, Briggs old trainer wouldn't have anything to do with the fight, Fenech watched one sparring session and refused to train Briggs. NSW refused to sanction the bout because of medical concerns.
