I’m a big fan of Junior, as a person and a boxer.

He was some fighter. Real awkward to handle and viscously hard hitting. Would have outpointed Hatton in my opinion.

Witter disappointed me in the Tim Bradley fight because he kept loading up and missing and refused to change his tactics. Nevertheless, he would still have won but for the knockdown he suffered from Bradley's big right swing in the sixth round. It was a punch everyone in the arena could see coming except Witter.

yeah very underrated cos he looked stinky in his title defences. i think the fight may have looked like warrington vs galahad, ricky outworking him to a hotly disputed decision. but with the ingle lot, they can also shell up under pressure occasionally. they certainly wanted NO part of him.

After the floyd loss, when witter had the WBC, that would have been a perfect return fight. lascano was a poor alternative.
