Thanks mate....Zale always seems to be a guy who does not get the threads/props he deserves.
Even in the old pictures, you can see what a powerful guy and intimidating MW he was.

No doubt the lost years could have enhanced his resume, but if anything I've always thought of him as overrated. I can't even think of any wins of note past graziano(gatti) and Abrams.

Blimey chap.....you ain't easily impressedNo doubt the lost years could have enhanced his resume, but if anything I've always thought of him as overrated. I can't even think of any wins of note past graziano(gatti) and Abrams.
I like the Zale story and I am going to explore it a bit more.....especially the Graziano fights.

Tony was tough as nails .They dont make em like him anymore classic tough guy that had some skills. One for the ages. Guys fought regularly during his era otherwise no dinner on the table.

It always amazes me that these guys were 9/10 Ko'd before the ref woud even consider stepping in. Different times, that's for sure
