Re: DAZN UK
I don’t think so.
If there is, I haven’t seen it on there.

Re: DAZN UK
Shame that, would’ve been good to have that option.
Re: DAZN UK
I have signed up.
I don't plan on getting up in the middle night. I'm hoping I can log on in the morning and there will be a link to play the fight without any spoilers on the main screen. That realistic?

Re: DAZN UK
Fairly sure no.
I signed up yesterday and have used the application on television, PC and phone. The price seems too good to be true but I will work on the theory they are sourcing funding from institutional investors, building a subscriber base, adding additional sports options and prices down the line, and looking to float.
No complaints so far.
Billy, that is realistic. Yes.

I hope so, my YouTube homepage has ruined no end of fights for me down the years.
Re: DAZN UK
Chuffed with that. Can neck as many beers as I like safe in the knowledge the fights are going to be waiting for me in HD Sunday morning
Anybody know if Garcia vs Campbell still scheduled for a decent start time over here?

They were only doing that because it was clashing with Spence-Garcia orginially..

Re: DAZN UK
I’m really happy with this app so far, watched Pirog vs Jacobs before and might watch Mayweather Maidana later. Watching the Smith Canelo weigh in right now on it.
When and what do we think the price will change to? I’m guessing after a couple of months it will be £6, then up to £12 a few months later.

Re: DAZN UK
Not sure. I won't pay more than a fiver per month for replays which is, realistically, what I'll be watching if the overwhelming majority of the content is from USA.Delta Jay wrote: ↑18 Dec 2020, 13:01 I’m really happy with this app so far, watched Pirog vs Jacobs before and might watch Mayweather Maidana later. Live Weigh In Now.
Eddie usually looks very presentable, today he looks like a dad in the trackies he wears on the weekend to give the kids their breakfasts before he's had a wash or cleaned his teeth.

Re: DAZN UK
He’s wearing Matchroom merch
I think he’s just come from the GGG weigh in and has to go straight back for the fight after this. Not to make excuses for him...
Re: DAZN UK
Tempted to watch Mayweather/Maidana myself now you've said that.Delta Jay wrote: ↑18 Dec 2020, 13:01 I’m really happy with this app so far, watched Pirog vs Jacobs before and might watch Mayweather Maidana later. Watching the Smith Canelo weigh in right now on it.

Just don't want to be getting too giddy in the lead up to Pitters/Richards. Think everybody smells a stinker.
As long as the fights are good and consistent, I think I'd pay 6/7 quid a month, but with Canelo no longer being exclusive and Golovkin near the end, what we looking forward to?
Re: DAZN UK
I’m practically certain matchroom will move to DAZN. Sky Sports too old fashioned and slow-moving and Eddie gets a bigger slice of the pie if he makes DAZN the “home of boxing” in the UK.Webbo911 wrote: ↑18 Dec 2020, 13:10Tempted to watch Mayweather/Maidana myself now you've said that.Delta Jay wrote: ↑18 Dec 2020, 13:01 I’m really happy with this app so far, watched Pirog vs Jacobs before and might watch Mayweather Maidana later. If that’s happens, and they start getting most of the foreign shows on there, it’s a no brainer.
Things never go that smoothly in practice, like
Re: DAZN UK
You may be right. Eddie is working his knackers off for DAZN. Up and down like a dog at a fair. Maybe he's been given shares?
Re: DAZN UK
I’m sure he had something to do with them from the start? I can’t remember exactly but I think he’s very invested in them. I wonder what Sky think when they see him doing all that work for them?

Re: DAZN UK

Re: DAZN UK
Those weigh ins were UFC style I.e. unofficial. The official weighs were held earlier.
Re: DAZN UK
Does anyone know how fast it is for beting in play ?
Don't want to be putting a wedge down only to find out your a round and a half slower than other punters..?

Re: DAZN UK
I’ve just discovered the brilliant “screen within a screen” feature on the iPhone app. You can have the fight playing in a smaller window while you carry on texting/tweeting/posting on the Boxrec forum.
That’s a big bonus for me
