Boxed amateur for about a year and a half. Had my nose broken, and the only shot that ever, ever dropped me in a match or sparring was a brutal blindsiding left hook just like this one.

It is pain that you cannot really describe, and the recovery from it takes a solid minute at least to get on your feet.

That hook from Garcia drove straight into the liver and with tremendous force. That’s a punch Reynosa has undoubtedly been working with Ry on employing in his arsenal. Canelo uses it a lot as well. Garcia is dangerous with that courtesy of his equally devastating left hook upstairs. If an Olympic Gold Medalist has trouble defending both then there’s not many fighters who can.
