Eye of the Tiger Management will immediately pick up where they left off in 2020 straight from Cuernavaca, Mexico. The next edition of the COMMANDO series presented live on Punching Grace on January 30, at 7:30 pm ET, is called ONE-TWO PUNCH.

The main event will be led by the clash between Steven "Bang Bang" Butler (28-2-1, 24 KOs) against tough Jose De Jesus Macias (27-10-3, 13 KOs) where four belts will be at stake.

Butler and Macias will battle it out for the WBC Francophone, NABF, NABA and NABO titles in a fight that promises to be fierce given the aggressive style of the two boxers.

Butler will have a tough client on his hands as he takes on the one who conquered Francis "The People's Champ" Lafrenière (20-7-2, 11 KOs) on foreign soil. It is therefore on homeground that Macias will have the chance to win these titles which could quickly propel him towards the the peaks of their division.

This warrior, originally from Mexico, is recognized as a pugilist who never refuses a challenge. He also offered excellent opposition to the Trois-Rivières native Mikael Zewski (34-2-0, 23 KOs), Souleymane Cissokho (11-0, 7 KOs) and powerful slugger Kerman Lejarraga (31-2, 24 KOs), among others.

“It’s been a long pause for Steven Butler, but a healthy one. Steven took a step back and recovered from his injuries, but most of all he had time to get used to and create some chemistry with his new trainer Mike Moffa. I'm excited and very confident about the Steven 2.0 we're going to see on January 30th. He has reached the highest peaks in his world championship bout and is by no means satisfied. Macias had great success against Quebec boxers, but he has never faced Butler. He may quickly regret having accepted the fight," said EOTTM’s general manager Antonin Décarie.

As the co-main event of the evening, Camille Estephan and his team managed to secure a fight where four other titles will be at stake while Sadriddin Akhmedov (11-0, 10 KOs) will undergo his toughest career test against Stephen Danyo (17-3-3, 6 KOs). The boxers will collide for the WBA Continental, NABF, WBC Francophone and NABO belts.

However, Danyo is the current WBA Continental champion and will sell not his skin cheaply and already offered a war to Custio Clayton (18-0-1, 12 KOs).

The next edition of the COMMANDO formula presented live on Punching Grace, featuring Steven Butler vs. Sadriddin Akhmedov, will take place one day earlier than initially planned.

This card will therefore take place on January 29 as of 7:30 p.m. Boxing fans will have to wait a day less before seeing the return of Steven "Bang Bang" Butler (28-2-1, 24 KOs) against Jose de Jesus Macias (27-10-3, 13 KOs). They will battle it out for the WBC Francophone, NABF and NABA middleweight titles.

Macias is a warrior from Mexico who is known to be a spoiler. Quebec boxing fans remember him as the last to defeat Francis Lafrenière (20-7-2, 11 KOs) and as the one who brought a hell of a fight to Mikael Zewski. (34-2-0, 23 KO).

“We made the decision to have our show one day early in order to allow boxing fans not to miss a second of the action and thus experience all the emotions generated by our Commando formula. In addition, Punching Grace subscribers will, for the first time, be able to choose between a French or English broadcast of our event,” says EOTTM President Camille Estephan.

Sadriddin Akhmedov (11-0, 10 KOs) will face his biggest career test against Stephen Danyo (17-3-3, 6 KOs) as the co-main event of the evening. The Eye of the Tiger Management team believes the time has come to increase the level of adversity of their young prodigy. Danyo is a very skilled and dangerous boxer. He is the current WBA Continental super welterweight champion and delivered quite a performance against Custio Clayton (18-0-1, 12 KOs).

Akhmedov will therefore have to offer a flawless performance to maintain his immaculate record and hope to bring back the WBA Continental, WBC Francophone and NABF titles to Quebec.

This event will be marked by the return to the ring of Steven "Bang Bang" Butler (28-2-1, 24 KOs) as he will face Jose de Jesus Macias (27-10-3 , 13 KOs).

These two boxers with aggressive styles will compete for the WBC Francophone, NABF and NABA titles in a fight that promises to be explosive to conclude this evening of boxing.

other main event of the evening will be graced by Sadriddin Akhmedov (11-0, 10 KOs) who will see his level of adversity be greatly increased since he will be opposed to the excellent technician, Stephen Danyo (17-3-3, 6 K.-O.), in another title fight.

In addition, Leila Beaudoin (3-0-0, 1 KO.) will face the powerful and experienced Mexican boxer, Maria Guadalupe Esquivel Zamora (4-16-1), in her first duel scheduled for 6 rounds. To kick off the evening, boxing fans can admire the exciting boxing style of new Eye of the Tiger Management team member Christopher Guerrero (professional debut). Tonight, three tigers were fighting in Cuernavaca, Mexico on Punching Grace. The event marked the comeback of Steven “Bang Bang” Butler (28-3-1, 24 KOs) after his setback in a WBA middleweight world title fight against Ryota Murata (16- 2-0, 13 KOs) in December 2019.

Today, the one nicknamed “Bang Bang” was undergoing quite a test while he was opposed to Jose de Jesus Macias (27-10-3, 13 KOs). Wanting to do better than his fellow Quebecers, Mikael Zewski (34-2-0, 23 KOs) and Francis Lafrenière (20-7-2, 11 KOs), Butler entered the ring with the knife between his teeth.

Showing convincing confidence as well as new skills early in the fight, Butler was surprised in the 5th round by a heavy shot from Macias who managed to finish the job with a powerful left hook moments later.

Macias therefore surprised Butler to get his hands on the WBC Francophone, NABF and NABA middleweight belts.

“We started the fight well with jabs and good defensive moves. I knew Macias is capable of surprises because he had a good fight against Zewski. He was a guy we had to beat, but that wasn't what happened," recounted Mike Moffa following the defeat of his protégé.

In addition to this duel, Sadriddin Akhmedov (12-0, 10 KOs) was also involved in a championship fight as he faced Stephen Danyo (17-4-3, 6 KOs).

Marc Ramsay's protégé was able to demonstrate all his skills from the first sound of the bell. Although Danyo is considered to be an excellent technician, "SOQ" managed to dominate him in all aspects of the fight by putting constant pressure on his opponent. So Akhmedov got his hands on the WBC Continental Americas, WBC Francophone and NABF Super Welterweight titles.

“It was a great learning fight for Sadriddin. This is exactly the kind of fighting he needs to progress." Marc Ramsay said after Akhmedov's performance.

However, the professional debut of exciting Montreal boxer Christopher Guerrero (1-0-0). Mike Moffa's young protégé proved to everyone that he has the potential for a blazing professional career as he emerged victorious from his duel against Armando Morales Gutierrez (1-2-0, 1 KO) by unanimous decision.
