Hopkins wins a clear cut decision. In the tedious early rounds I figure they could potentially split 'em through the first 6 or so, but Hopkins would take over more and more as it went, and by the end he'd be dominating the fight.

In 15 rounds. I'd say Hopkins wins a 10 rounds to 5 or 11 rounds to 4 decision.

I concur with B-Hop dominating Canelo to take a decision by 11-4.

Why 15? Both of them are 12-round-era fighters. Anyway, I gotta go with Canelo by dec. Canelo's advantages over Hopkins would be: speed, power, defence, counters, chin, judges.

Good matchup

Hopkins would have problems with canelos bursts like he did taylors. Canelo would have trouble with hopkins counter right and dirty tactics

You think canelo has better defense and counters than Hopkins?

We must be watching a different Canelo Alvarez because you attribute better skills to him than he's ever shown.

I'm not among Canelo worshippers, but I'd call remarkable what he has been doing since the Golovkin bouts.

With non-Vegas, non-Texas scoring, Hopkins about 9-6
