After last month's superb bargain offer of three South African bouts on one 3 hour VHS for £25 Dominic Foley and is mates at Fight FocUS have branched out into DVD's.
I thought he was offering four disks for £30 and complained he was too expensive but to my HORROR it turned out to be:
"any 4 fights for £30 subject to a running time limit of 2 hours".
He has always been a rip off merchant, £35 for big fight t-shirts...it's obvious he gets them from the street sellers for $10. £20 for monthly DVD shows with 3 fights on and £15 for the VHS equivalent. He even charges £5 for his catalogue! I think he must have a hardcore base of buyers otherwise he wouldn't still be trading at those prices surely. I know my postman uses him
Looks like my little chat with Domininc is pushing him back into the real world, a special offer this week!!
fightfocUS is happy to offer you the following USA Fight Show Specials:
22 January 2005: Mayweather v Bruseles
29 January 2005: Gatti v Leija
5 February 2005: Spinks v Judah II
Normal price is £15 VHS/£20 DVD per show but order it this week (I must be in receipt of payment no later than 10 February 2005) for only £10 VHS/£15 DVD per show. Please note postage outside the UK is an additional £3 per show tape/£1 per show disk.
how much is 25 (E) in Amerian dollars? I wanted to order maybe 1 or two tapes from him, to get some hard to find stuff. Of course, he probably charges double for american style vhs tapes, and extra to ship ? lol
It seems like if I want 2 tapes custom made, I would end up spending $100 ?

I use him and he charges about 40 U.S dollars per tape.
His quality is good i admit but too often in the Boxing DVD/VHS business too many sellers think they can rip people off in the name of "Good quality stuff" i have forked out a lot of money in the past on fights and the quality has been shocking and on the flip side there are plenty of cheaper traders who offer good quality but at lower prices (like Red Dragon and Andy Foster)...i think it is all about shopping around and after i tried Fight FocUS once i am damn sure i won't be going back there again
