FW BT shows

Post by maverick23 »

He’s just announced a couple of shows for the end of March....

March 26th
Ennis Brown vs Maxwell for the British and commonwealth belts
Brad Foster in an international fight
David Adelaide
Dennis McCann

March 27th
Hutchinson vs Clarke
Jenkins vs Essuman

A couple of good fights but if that’s all their output for March then it’s nothing special.

I think Hutchinson clearly has a lot of potential - but I wish he'd have had to beat at least one or half decent fighters to get a shot at the British title.

The likes of Chelli, Sadiq, Davies and Cullen have all been matched tougher in comparison and all are more deserving in my book.

I sometimes wonder if the BBBoC just throw two darts at the top 15 or so in Britain to decide who fights for vacant belts.

Yeah - Hutchinson hasn’t fought anyone yet that resembled a threat to beating him and, even though ability wise Hutchinson could be ace, he’s done nothing to deserve a shot at the British title compared to some other fighters.

I’m happy though the British title is being fought for though. Hopefully it will be more active going forward.

Do you really think that?

It’s great that British titles are being contested but none of the fights excite me really. They’re fairly well matched but are any of them ‘must watch’?

Fair enough! :TU:

I just don’t think it’s particularly exciting for a month’s worth of boxing output for BT.

This week’s Sky main event is crap but I think I’d rather watch next week’s show (Kelly/Avanesyan and Marku/Charlton) over both of those BT shows.

This weeks main event is pretty dire your right mate but i like Wood/Mould for the British Feather strap and Zelfa/Kiko should be fun

Im pissed off Diaz failed weight, i hope Rakhimov smashes him to bits and i think he will TBH, maybe not stop him but i think he'll put a beatdown on him

Agree fully. If tonight had a proper opponent for Warrington then it’d be a v.good show.

Also agree re: Diaz/Rakhimov.
