Miguel Berchelt v Oscar Valdez - Live on B/N Sunday
Just checked to see if this fight had been picked up in the UK and thankfully it's showing on Premier Sports and B/N, 3am Sunday morning. This should be an all-out war, I'm picking Berchelt via close decision but wouldn't be too surprised if it went the other way! How are people seeing this one?

Re: Miguel Berchelt v Oscar Valdez - Live on B/N Sunday
Excellent fight but I think Oscar is going to be too small here, if he gets into a war, which he usually does. Berchelt is a beast. Valdez has been in some very tough fights already, I thought he was badly outweighed by Scott Quigg, and he took a pounding there too.
If he boxes and moves he can win on points but looks unlikely ..maybe if he’s got the discipline

Nice little battle this
I'm going with berchelt
Re: Miguel Berchelt v Oscar Valdez - Live on B/N Sunday
Outstanding matchup
Hard to pick a winner, probably favour Berchelt, but how do you write off such a determined warrior like Valdez
It's one of those where I can't choose a winner until the day of the fight.

I just can't see anything else but a real tear up between these two considering their styles, seems to be some genuine needle involved also at least on Berchelt's behalf as he seems to resent Valdez for beating him to a place at the Olympics.MightyWarrior wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021, 07:39 Excellent fight but I think Oscar is going to be too small here, if he gets into a war, which he usually does. Both are warriors and although Valdez will be the smaller man I think his toughness will take him the distance even if he's coming off 2nd best, that Quigg effort with a broken jaw was some viewing (the Marriaga and Servania fights were also great).

Re: Miguel Berchelt v Oscar Valdez - Live on B/N Sunday
This should be essential viewing, 2 Mexican warriors who love nothing more than leaving their balls out there, Berchelt is the bigger man, stronger man, harder hitter and better all round boxer than Valdez who's been in some wars already despite most of his challengers been mediocre, Lopez put him on his arse last time and ref was a bit quick to stop it, still he's never lost and still doing something right, cant see Super Feather being good for him though, he'll feel the difference in power, Berchelt will brutalize him
Re: Miguel Berchelt v Oscar Valdez - Live on B/N Sunday
Can’t friggen wait for this. Undercard not total bollocks either. Gonna go Berchelt cos he’s bigger, but he hasn’t exactly been active and challenging himself and must be a few years older than Valdez. Mind you they’ve both got plenty of miles on the clock.

Same pal, going to set an alarm and get up for this, catch a few hours sleep after Kelly v Avanesyan. I'm sticking with Berchelt on points, he is such a relentless offensive fighter and hits hard, but I expect a typically gritty effort from Valdez. Should be great entertainment regardless.

Blood sweat and tears build up here, these are usually pretty good
I’m thinking Valdez must have a box n move game plan - Probably they think mixing it up with this guy is a bad idea so might be worth a bet on the lighter man, I’m gonna check the odds...

Looking forward to this monster of a fight tonight!
I can't see anything but a bloody war.
Favour Berchelt to win by stoppage around the mid rounds in a brutal affair.

Re: Miguel Berchelt v Oscar Valdez - Live on B/N Sunday
A little surprised they have Vladez as favourite. I suppose Oscar's the boxer with the bigger reputation, but would have expected the bookies to be wise to how good Berchelt is.
That puts even more doubt in my pick, but I think Berchelt will get his career defining win.

Vegas, yeah. With no crowd the turnaround in between fights seems a lot quicker so a bit trickier to judge when to get up. 4am sounds about rightRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑20 Feb 2021, 08:16Vegas ain’t it? He isn’t the favourite. He’s a big underdog.THEBUTCH wrote: ↑20 Feb 2021, 09:21 A little surprised they have Vladez as favourite. I suppose Oscar's the boxer with the bigger reputation, but would have expected the bookies to be wise to how good Berchelt is.
