NEW SEASON FAQs

Post by Crease »

1. WHEN will The New Season begin?
The Draft will begin on March 21st, so prospective Managers have until that time to state their interest and get their names down on The Managers List.

2. WHAT will be the new weight?
Next season will be The Featherweight II season. We will just be using the Featherweights. The talent pool is deep enough to ask questions out of each Manager and all fighters.

3. What is new this time round?
Not much. We are returning to a winning formula with BoxBuzz and Crease taking the mantle as Joint Commissioners.

4. So, what is coming back?
A lot of old favourites - The Title Eliminators, The Prizefighter Tourneys, The Million Dollar Tournament and lastly, The Super Six.

5. Will we have enough time to fit them all in?
As always, we'll strive to go all the way - 40 weeks!!!
Title Elims begin in Week 6.....The PFs will be Weeks 10, 20 & 30..... The MDT begins in in Week 16..... Super Six is in Week 35.

6. Anything else?
Yes, one last thing. After the conclusion of the Draft, the recruitment window will open - so that each stable can add a 3rd fighter to their gym... Should they want to, but this is, of course, entirely optional... But it provides a further chance to win a title.

7. Oh yeah - speaking of titles?
We will have our four World Championships - the Lonsdale Ring Belt may come into play after a unification and we have the IBO as the minor strap.

Very ambitious! We may need too pare it back just a skosh for this first time out. Though I'll try to unlock all the secrets of the software. I've always had trouble sorting the multi belt aspects.

Let's start with everyone having just 2 fighters...
4 World Titles and the 1 minor belt.

This just in:

YOUR fighter will ALWAYS be fighting in his PRIME! That's the good news.

The Bad News......His ATTITUDE and TRAINING routine will be left to the winds of fate.

You will need to meditate, pray, and/or otherwise meddle with the cosmic forces of the universe in order to assist him in making the best choices and enhance his chances of having a great training camp.

I can add clarity to this, IF you don't understand what this means.
