I remember when Reggie fought Dave Green at the Albert Hall in 1981, he belted Green around for five rounds but looked tired and unhappy as he went back to his corner at the end of the fifth. The camera focussed on him in the corner and Ford was shaking his head and looked all set to quit when suddenly Green was pulled out in the opposite corner. It proved to be Green's last ever fight.
