Initially our team planned to do the unification for Arguello, as The Best There Is was going for the 3rd title defence. Now Alexis has it, but the only other fighter with 3 defences, Henry Armstrong, has suffered a defeat. So, there came back a one longtime option - Terry McGovern, who is still lucky enough to hold the single unavenged win over The Best There Is.

Alexis Arguello vs Terry McGovern II for the WBC Championship, let's do it.

The Killer Miller has just been in the prolonged roll against the managed fighters and, unfortunately, suffered two losses in the last fights. So, now he needs some cheese.

Freddie Miller vs Jim Cheese, let's get it on.

Hamed holds a controversial decision win over Kid Chocolate, so how 'bout they have a rematch for the title?

McGovern accepts. Should be a good one.

Sanchez makes himself available to any of the other champions.

Sandy Saddler WBA Champ
Vicente Saldivar WBO Champ
Naseem Hamed IBF Champ

Or else he calls out BoxBuzz's Bobby Chacon. (I'll come up with a CPU back-up a bit later)

For this week and this week only I will be taking into account all Title requests and potential agreements and possibly over riding such input as a sanctioning body might. This is not to thwart, or take any fun out of the game, but to offer opportunity, and to mimic the bullshit that sanctioning bodies often engage in....sometimes for good and sometimes for corrupt purposes. The typical rules will not apply.

For this week..:

the rule that a "recent loss disqualifies you for a title " will be waived. SO.....If a very top rated fighter suffered a loss last week, this will not disqualify him for a shot.

The top point gatherers without titles from both lists will be given much leeway to compete.

IF A CHALLENGER DOES NOT WISH TO FIGHT FOR A TITLE>>>YOU WILL NOT BE BROUGHT IN CHAINS TO DO SO. I will post the mandatory fights....and you will be given time to back out if you wish. I won't go forward without approval from all camps.
I will post a note "Approved by both camps" as camps make their decisions.

However A CHAMPION CAN NOT REFUSE A MANDATORY UNLESS HE RELINQUISHES HIS TITLE.

I'm attempting to allow managers to decide their own fate...AND at the same time allowing opportunity for most.

This plan has it's flaws, just as fine leather does. Leather is good stuff and it has flaws ......Naugahyde is close to perfect...and it sucks.

Armstrong wants to get hopefully get revenge for his stablemate and will like to take on Ben Jordan. If that isn't feasible, he was looking to face Sugar Ramos had they both won. Seeing that they both lost, fight still looks feasible to make.

Kid Chocolate
has had a plethora of suspect decisions against him. He needs to hopefully get some wins to be able to compete in the upcoming tourney. Raul Rojas looks like a good dance partner. Chocolate felt robbed in the Hamed fight, and if there is a waiver clause for this week, and Kevo suggested it, we'd be open to that as well.

Abe Attell, a well respected fighter who as one of the best and finest of FW's went after and ruthlessly captured the IBO title last week, and will be locked out of the mandatory title discussions. To be fair, this was Jem's plan as well....however Jem did offer up the caveat that he would immediately toss the IBO title IF HE WON, in order to be considered for this weeks festivities. No such pre nuptial was noted from Abe.

This is not meant as much as a flagrant display of our undue influence, but as a practical matter in order to move this week forward. To show that there are no hard feelings, Jem will offer up the guarantee that should he win the WBA title, and Abe has won whatever fight he plans for week 15, Abe will be offered a shot at the WBA in week 16. But Saddler is under no requirement to offer such a deal.

This rule was waivered for this week only. Based on Ramo's record he qualified for the shot.

TO CREASE:

Two of your fighters qualify for a mandatory shot. You may choose which fighter....and for which title....but not both.

Eder Jofre will be given the remaining shot.

I do believe this ends the Title discussion for the week.

UNLESS a champion drops his belt to run from a mandatory OR a mandatory fighter declines his option.
