The laughable thing is that Dubois actually did fight on for awhile with his eye messed up before the pain became too much.

BJS got out of there as soon as he could.

He’s a farce and a joke, total scumbag with no class, heart, decency and decorum, and now add the worse thing of all especially in boxing to a very long list, QUITTER, at least Dubois eye was totally shut and he fought on like fighters do and bite through the pain for as long has he could with it, not like him, his eye started swelling/injury happened at the end of the round almost and he goes back and quits, tell his trainer he don’t want no more, what a disgrace, never want to hear him talk rubbish again after his no heart display

Under most circumstances it wouldn't feel right to stick the boot in when a man's down....not this time :OhYes:

BS deserves all the flack coming his way.

Such cases should never be critisized. Neither Dub's quit, nor Saunders' one was a bad quit. Duran vs Leonard was a bad quit, unless we don't know something. But when there's damage suffered, it's even foolish to try to be a hero and to continue. It can look spectacular, but it can turn out to be severe for a fighter.

FFS how can anyone defend BS :shame:

The guy chose of his own free will to release a video of himself saying Dubois should have made the decision to be carried out of the ring !

What did BS do in the same position (in fact Dubois had manfully taken a lot more punishment for 10 rounds, rather than just one bad round) :maybe:

Where was the fighting heart :maybe:

The irony!

BJS def bottled it. FFS its its a black eye, its a boxing match after all. Was he hoping to get through the fight without a scratch!

The hype running up to this fight was great, just what boxing needed, then this happens, this type of quitting does boxing no favours.

Yep, BS's career nose dive reached a crescendo when he sat on his stool at the end of the 8th round.

"Proper fighting men" :o

I take no joy in watching someone lose and i thought bjs boxed very well up until that point but when you behave the way he does and talk as much shit as he does outside the ring then this sort of response has to be expected.

I personally think he'll retire now,he's never been the most active fighter anyway and faced with the task of rebuilding and boxing for crap money i think he'll sail off into the sunset.

To be honest i think eddie will be quite glad to see the back of him he must be a nightmare to try and promote/manage.

Eddie was grinning like a cheshire cat having a wank in the ring after the fight.

Yep, classy by Dubois nice one. He sets a good example. It’s not cool to kick a fighter when he’s down, it doesn’t matter who it is. These guys really put themselves through it so we can enjoy this sport. They’re the ones who have to live with their injuries when it’s all over. And don’t start about the millions either. Fighters deserve every penny they get.

On another note. Well done Canelo.

He probably won't speak to Eddie again after last night,it was clear he wanted shut of him and who can blame him, even Eddie must cringe at the shite Saunders comes out with.

I actually dislike Saunders more than i do Broner, but nice to see both crying after the fight,Broner sobbing all the way back to the dressing room and Saunders with his face hidden under the towel climbing in the back of the ambulance
