Average no longer displaying in the "scoring" section for bouts?

Post by Cinnamon16 »

I really enjoy scoring a fight, then seeing how my score stacks up against the average of other Boxrec users, as well as the three judges who scored the fight. This was made incredibly easy by the blue/red chart that displays, showing my score, the average Boxrec score, and the three judges' scores all next to one another.

However, I logged on today to upload/check some more scores, and noticed that the "average" column has been completely removed. Here's a screenshot for Pryor-Arguello I, and you'll see that (despite having 6 other people who've scored the bout), only my score and the judges score appear: https://i.ibb.co/ggCg5rv/image.png

Is this a glitch on my end? Is it a sitewide glitch? Or has that feature been removed entirely? I really hope it hasn't been removed, as it was by far my favorite feature of this site.

The average score is now shown below and has been expanded out to 2 decimal places so the round splits can be seen.

I noticed this, but I appreciated the quickness/ease of being able to immediately compare my scores with the average and the other judges. With this new arrangement, I now have to check back and forth between my score and the averages for each individual round; even worse, expanding it to a decimal point means it's not immediately clear in some instances who won a round.

What used to be a fun activity that took a few seconds now takes me an entire minute or longer, as I try to keep in mind my score for a round while simultaneously deducing who won the round on the "average" scorecard, located on a completely different part of the page.

Are there any plans to restore having an "average" column alongside a user's own score and the three judges? That was such a terrific and simple feature, I don't know why it would ever be taken away.

Any update on this? Just scored two more fights; trying to compare my own scores to that of the average is practically impossible now, especially since the decimal places don't make it readily evident who won a match. The speed, ease, and simplicity of having my scores next to the average scores (expressed as integers, not decimals) is completely gone.

Previously, I could quickly discern within seconds how my scores stack up against the average; now, if I wish to do so, I'll need to take 2-3 minutes. I feel sad and dejected. Any chance of this very basic and helpful functionality being restored?
