Hamed v Pedroza

Apologies if we have covered this one before.
But I do like this fight very much because it feels like fire meeting granite.
They're both prime.
It is a WBA featherweight title fight but on neutral turf - let's say Atlantic City or Monaco.
Crucially, Hamed is the challenger so must make the moves to unseat Pedroza.
Does Hamed run into trouble against a powerful, seasoned and hugely competent featherweight kingpin?
Or does he have too much speed, hard punches coming from odd places and confidence for Pedroza?

Interesting, tough one to call. I think Pedroza on points. He was a lot taller than Hamed and I think he would use that to his advantage. I don’t think he‘d fall for Hamed‘s larger than life persona either.

Pedroza would confidently outbox Hamed, as he simply had more skills and accomplished more, while Hamed was only exercising his several physical talents on the lesser opposition, until he finally got schooled by a truly classy boxer.

I think there are several featherweights in the past 40 years who would beat Pedroza, but Hamed isn't one of them. Pedroza would outbox him, hitting him in the ballsack a few times along the way for good measure. UD something like 7-5 or 8-4 if 12, 9-6 or 10-5 if 15

Eusebio Pedroza was one of the all-time great featherweight boxers and the MOST COMPLETE BOXER in my lifetime. He had all around skills. He could do it all.

No chance...
Pedroza was a supreme boxer and was fornicating dirty - he would do a Barrera x 10 on Hamed and would stop him by the 12th.

Thank you gents..........good conversation.
Hamed's confidence feels like a huge factor in all of this and especially as he is the challenger and has to push.
What I most remember about him was the self-belief and willingness to try things and assert himself.
But ultimately I think that is deeply dangerous against Perdroza who would heavily punish even minor mistakes or just get a forearm, shoulder or a good shove in and maybe man-handle Naz a bit.
I like the fight the other way round too.....how would Pedroza approach the fight as the challenger?
