GDPR is the law, not sure I agree that it should affect boxrec though

It also has no bearing whatsoever on the data of deceased people.

Exactly but I assume the database would need tweaking to differentiate between those alive and deceased.

I agree. I think we've just gone for the lazy option and are satisfied with the data being available in the Wiki for deceased fighters.

Looking on other official sports sites like NBA, F1, Tennis etc they all show dates of birth, they don't seem bothered by GDPR
