Nice to see some old boxers in the corner for Ouma v Jantuah,
Johnny Bumphus was working Ouma's corner and the Great Mike McCallum was in Jantuah's.
Bumphus is famous over here for getting stopped by Honeyghan, he was still rising from his stool at the start of the second round when Honeyghan ran across the ring and decked him. Honeyghan said "the bell went ding, and i went dong"
Mike McCallum fought over here 4 times, he's most famous for beating Herol Graham on points, just, Graham was docked a point for pulling McCallum to the gound, without this it would have been a draw
McCallum returned soon after, stopping Michael Watson, in what was a great display he really took a brave Watson to school stopping him in 11 rounds.
Nice to see both boxers passing on their knowledge to others.

He seemed to take a while to warm up to the task Ouma, but was a nice boxer, i would love to see Wayne Alexander have a go at him though, would be interesting for the first few roundsTHEBUTCH wrote:Johnny Bumpas appears to be doing a good job with Ouma judging by Kassim's performance.
I was really impressed with Ouma. I just couldn't find fault with his showing against Jantuah.
Hope Ronald Wright gives him a shot at his titles if he overcomes Trinidad.
