Poll : Does Tyson Fury career bores you to death ?

Post by Boxtune »

After wining decision and crying like a bitch because he even himself couldn't believe a win verdict against Klitchko
2015-11-28. Honestly how has fought apart from Wilder and he has fought ONCE every year against tomato cans.

He never fought other top 10 contenders. Klitchkos were giving 5-6 title fights away every year, so everyone could get a
chance at title. He took 2.5 years of nice excuse into hiding to escape rematch with Klitckho and it takes him 20 months to 3rd wilder rematch. To be honest i am not entertained at all ..It reminds me of years Holyfield three fight against John Ruiz.

Does anyone remember he was calling klitckos a Bitch !!! :D :D :D

So true ..... By the time he fights wilder he will be 34, he is at his peak now, he should do 3-4 fights a year for next three years . Problem with Today champions think every fight is a risk, better not fight if don't have to.

And then when you do get. a champion come along that tries to unify all the belts.and fights anybody and everybody that the governing bodies throw at him without complaint, you still manage to find a reason to hate him too.

Yes, Fury is a big waste of talent, plagued by mental and drug issues, laziness, ducking AJ. He was a great solid one hit wonder (Klitschko win) but the rest has all been WWF BS.

Utter tosh from the Fury haters. He put on a masterclass against WK, he was half expecting to get jobbed in Germany, he was jobbed by the yanks against Wilder in the first fight, second fight he mullered Wilder to take it out of the judges hands. Fury is the guvnor of the division. :salut:

HW version of TCraw. Fathomless wastes of great talent.

:shame: Fury is NOT 2-0 v Wilder, and he does not deserve to be any more than Rigo deserved the W over Casimero last Saturday.

Nah, Fury did much better in the 1st Wilder fight and even in the Klitschko fight, than Rigo did against Casimero. With Fury it was possible to give him rounds clearly. In the Rigo-Casimero it was a 0-0 draw sh!tfest.

But that's also the case for all of Deontay Wilders opponents, isn't it?

Luis Ortiz was giving Wilder a boxing lesson and won all of the rounds until he suddenly ran out of gas. Wilder needed some referee help just to survive.

The only difference with the much younger Fury was that he got back up and won the rematch.

Fury simply has an ugly ungainly style that is more awkward than anything else. Nowadays Fury relies heavily on his reflexes which may or may not be chemically enhanced.

The younger Tyson Fury was a far more entertaining fighter, no doubt.

Keep repeating it, but it won’t be any more accurate.

Fury v Wilder I could have gone either way. I had it for Wilder, but I would not be whining about it years later if the decision had gone to the twice floored Fury.

I think he should be 1-1 against Wilder. Any other referee would have stopped the fight, it seemed like a long count to me.

I agree with the opening post. Fury's career with the PED use, backing out of contracted rematches, obesity, and long periods of inactivity leaves a lot to be desired.

He's never defended a world title, not even once.

But the obvious point being made is that he SHOULD be 2-0

If scored correctly Fury won 9 rounds in the first go...factor in that 10-8 round for Wilder and you're looking at an 8-4 split.

Even if you called that 10-8 a 10-7 Fury still takes it. It a fact, weather you liked it or not mate.

:OhYes:
It was a draw, “weather you liked it or not.” The difference is I admit that it was close and could have gone either way.

Ok mate...once you put that crack pipe away you can explain the math on that one for us all.

It is not a popularity contest. And pulling out punch stats.

Fury is lucky he got out of the ring with a draw.

The ONLY math that matters is

115-111 Wilder
113-113
114-112 Fury

I agree with 115-111 Wilder, and acknowledge that it was a close fight that could have gone either way.

Fury has only himself to blame, same as Rigo last Saturday.

Never in my lifetime have I seen a ref begin to count when a boxer is lying flat on his back after getting floored a second time with his eyes closed. 1st fight should have been called a KO.

2nd fight, major damage done by an accidental but very obvious rabbit punch. Whatever, it was a good win for Fury. Shit happens.

If Fury would have aknowledged the rematch clause, we would already be done with the 3rd Wilder fight and Joshua. That's on him and his incompetant team.

what happened to 'no excuses'

so fury actually got up in the first fight, but even knowing that you think the ref shouldve waved it off immediately, talk about butthurt LOL
