Chantelle Cameron vs Mary McGee, Kali Reis vs Jessica Camara scheduled for October 30th on DAZN

Four boxers will compete for the opportunity to be crowned undisputed super lightweight champion

Eddie Hearn and Lou DiBella have unveiled the plan to establish an undisputed womens’ super lightweight champion. On October 30th on DAZN, Chantelle Cameron (14-0, 8 KO) will take on Mary McGee (27-3, 15 KO) in a title unification, while Kali Reis (18-7-1, 5 KO) will defend her belt and seek to add an additional vacant title against Jessica Camara (8-2).

This four-person tournament provides an excellent showcase for the womens’ super lightweight division, with the winner stamping her place in history and opening the door for even more high profile fights in the near future, especially if Katie Taylor is interested in becoming undisputed champion in a second weight class.

Cameron vs McGee is a competitively matched unification bout, as both women make the second defense of their respective WBC and IBF titles. Chantelle Cameron is ranked #1 in the division and Mary McGee is ranked #2, so the Ring Magazine belt will also be there for the taking.

Kali Reis, the #4 ranked fighter at super lightweight, will also be making a second defense of her WBA title after a somewhat underwhelming performance by her standards against Diana Prazak last month. For her part, Jessica Camara earned this title opportunity by upsetting Heather Hardy by way of unanimous decision in May. The vacant WBO belt will also be on the line, meaning that the winner of each matchup will enter the final with two of the four sanctioning bodies’ titles to their name.

I'm picking McGee to cause the upset this weekend..
Be worth a watch just to see Eddie's face when another of his fighters prematurely tipped for more suffers a loss

Lol. I put a tener on her at 11 to 1. She has a decent record, but hasn't boxed for a bit. But women's boxing is rubbish and most women can win a fight just through workrate as they rarely hurt each other .

Also whilst he's never a muscleman type, does anyone think Babic's body looks a little untrained?

I had to rummage a bit to revive it mate. I had an inkling that this fight could end in an upset. The reason is that Eddie has already looked past tje lovely Mary McGee and maybe Cameron has as well. Doing that ends up in tears. And the odds were nice for McGee decision..

I've got a tenner on McGee :TU:

And yes, the cabbage was not looking as firm of torso as in previous fights. Any sign of slowing or weakness and Molina gonna pounce on it if he's motivated.

I'd prefer someone coming up to take his scalp.
Oh- I got 12-1 on my NZ betting site, we can't use overseas betting because of tax reasons I think. Well worth a little flutter, but only a small one because McGee is the B side and British decisions have been really woeful lately :verysad:

Nice price! With woman’s boxing the pool is so small it’s possible mcGee can win. In women’s boxing if you just throw and throw punches you can win

That was.............not the level I expect to see when watching a unification bout.

We're roughly 8 weeks from a decision on whether or not to keep dazn(I do the yearly sub), if that level is what can expected in a main event, I have no reason to keep dazn.

I don't expect to ever see her in main events unifying titles or even winning a title.
Ebonie is a photogenic, entertaining, undercard fighter.
I expect a higher standard in title unifying bouts.

Always liked Cameron , best of the 2 or 3 women in each division who can actually fight .
