Should the board set "fixture" dates so UK shows are more spread out

I was thinking earlier, if Holyfield died last night, you could see federal intervention and folk going to prison over that farce.

Then, separately, having been spoiled with shows this weekend, I noticed there is sod all on next weekend (on telly). Two televised shows on Friday night from the UK, plus Hrgovic on Dazn, and Fwank was gonna have one last night, but it fell through.

Nowt next weekend as far as I can see.

Next month it looks like Fwank and Eddie are going head to head on Sat 9th Oct.

In other sports, governing bodies seem to have more say in when the sport is televised. Seems like the board just allow a free for all here. I'd prefer some sort of organised approach, purely as fan who works all week and wants some boxing on the telly on Friday or Saturday. Anyone agree ?

Truthfully it’s more likely Eggington or Bilel would’ve died as their fight was so intense. With 2 minute rounds and ref on orders to jump in as soon as Holy took a decent shot it was unlikely they’d let Holy get hurt. Having said that if he had….. the repercussions would’ve been enormous and it was disgusting they let that travesty happen

Yeh the promoters should deal with this.

This is what happens.

Hearn announces a show for a set date. With a headline fight.

Then FW comes outs. No fights set, and claims he had that date saved for a year..
