Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
Whyte is over rated but gotta commend credit him for resume. Wallin is grossly overrated only “decent” win is breazeal. Basicaly known for cutting fury.
That said it’s a fun fight. Why yes first decent southpaw? Wallin going for his first respectable win, classic euro levle scrap.

Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
Wallin seems to have enough tools to deal with Whyte. He is a bit of a dark horse, as he wasn't in many big fights, but he looked good in the major ones. I slighty lean towards Otto by dec.
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
Think this is a terrific fight - you have to commend Whyte.

Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
I'm hoping for good odds so I can bet some money on Wallin, Otto's going to win this fight imo, Whyte and Browne are/were the most overrated HWs in recent era.
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
Absolutely lazboy. I love Dillian Whyte. He's not the best of fighters which is why I find his fight anyone attitude particularly admirable, remarkable and refreshing. Wallin has only ever lost to Fury and it might be argued should have got the stoppage win.
Dillian must know he is probably favourite but maybe 60/40 at best. He also knows that habitually taking these risky fights can and have backfired on him.
He may not be good enough to win the title but in terms of heart and spirit, he's more of a champion than some of these risk-averse wankers that might be favoured to beat him.
To those who don't appreciate this man who is the epitome of what we say we want from our fighters, I say "Are you sure you like the sport of Boxing?"
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
Whyte setting up the Fury vs Whyte fight down the road. Good fight risky fight once again by the bravest man in boxing today Dillian Whyte.
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
Much better fight than Arreola.

i think he knocks wallin out. to proof a point.
i'd also slightly favour him over gunshy joshua atm. 50/50 fight.
he'd literally take apart wilder if he can channel the pent up anger
he won't be an easy night's work for fury either although i can't see him prevail.
it's the heavyweight division, one clean punch on the button your opponent didn't anticipate can end a fight. i wouldn't write whyte off versus anybody.

Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
should be interesting as walllin is durable but whyte will be agressive which he may not cope well with .
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
Let's not get too carried away with Wallin's skill level or being dangerous. He couldn't ko Breazeale, had a win over Kaufman, and lost to a pathetic looking Fury with a bad cut. He's a prospect, not a contender.
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
Another decent match for Dillian to stay active.

Another tough fight for Whyte.
Could be a scrappy points....and nobody's got time for that.

Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
You've got to hand it to Whyte, he rarely looks to take the easy option.
Like him or not, you can't argue with his resume.
He seems to have been the number 1 contender since the Ice Age and he could easily just sit on his ranking and take 90/10 fights, but here he is in another potential 50/50 fight.

Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
Let’s assume Dillian Whyte wins this fight.
Within a six-year period, ‘The Body Snatcher’ would have fought the likes of Anthony Joshua, Joseph Parker, Alexander Povetkin (twice), Oscar Rivas, Dereck Chisora (twice), Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin and the unbeaten iteration of Lucas Browne.
That’s (arguably) ten fights against top-ten world-rated opposition, which is pretty remarkable in my eyes, especially when you consider that Dillian has never engaged in a world title fight, coupled with the fact the likes of Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, Luis Ortiz and Andy Ruiz Jr. have all rejected opportunities to face him.

His resume is going to resemble Povetkin's soon..
he always fought name fighters.
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
I'm really looking forward to this fight I think the styles will gel well with Wallin playing the role of the boxer and Whyte the brawler. I lean to Whyte in a close decision.

Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
Otto Wallin has just gone on record to state that he was in deep negotiations with Luis Ortiz immediately prior to being offered the Dillian Whyte fight.
Apparently Otto Wallin accepted the terms and signed the contract, which had already been agreed to by both sides, when the Cuban’s team decided to walk away from the fight.
This led to Otto being compelled to face Dillian Whyte instead.
So Luis Ortiz has rejected bouts against the likes of Anthony Joshua, Joe Joyce, Dillian Whyte and now Otto Wallin.

Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
without the doctor's irregular intervention and a
non corrupt, fair ref doing his job the old cuban fvcker would've been wbc heavyweight champion of the world after wilder - ortiz 1.
one can only speculate but for sure both their career's would've defintely taken a quite different route.

Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
I'm not a Dillian Whyte fan. I hate the way the Chisora fights were given to him. His prefight antics prior to those fights, the lousy performance vs AJ and last but not least all the b1tching and whining from him and his fans about how he is entitled to this or that which he is not. That being said Otto is on paper a hugely dangerous opponent sort of a high risk low reward kind of guy and Dillian is doing the brave thing by fighting him.
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (October 30)
True. That fight could have easily been stopped. Ortiz wasn't supposed to win though.adislav123 wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 15:29without the doctor's irregular intervention and a
