I don’t know him personally but have shared a changing room with him and he is arrogant, small man syndrome I would say, where has Pat who I’ve spent time in the gym with almost kid napped us to take such good care of us, went out his way every time, would feed you, make sure everything was ok, would really go out his way, not because he had to, but because he wanted too, genuine good man but a very capable & naughty man that was clear to see by those around him & when with him in his company & travelling around his city with him, no ego, nothing, just a decent guy, such a huge gulf in characters & attitudes, if anyone could share some light on this I would be grateful because I just don’t get it

What is wrong with Tunde Ajayi
Just watched the press conference for Arthur Vs Yarde, Tunde seriously needs to check himself, his ego & pathetic effort at thinking he is so smart & cool, if he was a chocolate bar he would eat himself
even though IMO he is out of date & still think he tastes the best
the guy never did nothing has a boxer & has not done nothing has a trainer, and to my knowledge of people who know him done nothing “on road” of note either, why has it always got to be about him, it’s pure nonsense, why does Yarde put up with him ? What hold does he have over him ? It’s absolutely mind boggling tbh.

as for Tunde, its kingdom of the blind theory/ or the theory that if you spout something often enough, with enough seeming confidence, some people will believe in you.
Re: What is wrong with Tunde Ajayi
Pat bit today but I can understand why, Tunde is a gobshite.
I very rarely watch a fight where I’m rooting for one guy over the other but i have to admit I’m rooting for Arthur here. Very close fight though

And Yh I suppose your right mate, must be that because it’s just lunacy IMO his talk & how he behaves all the time, it’s all well & good having confidence but jeez the guy takes it to a whole new level & with nothing of note to show why he acts such, absolute horrible trait & arrogant
Re: What is wrong with Tunde Ajayi
didn't he say something like "i'm trying not to take it to the road"
I'm not sure I'd fancy his chances vs pat barrett. His 'educated hoodrat' pretentions would quickly evaporate.

I didn’t say I didn’t like him, I don’t know him personally to be able to say that, but clearly there must be something wrong with him, wether that be insecurities he play acts well in hiding with his facade, but a normal, decent, respectful, genuinely confident human, with morales, & respect doesn’t do, act & say the stuff this guy consistently does & behaves in the way he does, people like Pat Barrett don’t, neither does Peter fury, the late gentleman that was Oliver Harrison, Martin bowers, I could go on and on, all very capable and knowledgable men with clout, quiet, respectfull, knowledgeable, confidentstevec@france wrote: ↑19 Oct 2021, 12:24 just cos you dont like him doesnt mean there is something wrong with the guy !

Tende is a man of God.
He has taken Yarde to a respectable loss to Kovalev.
I'm not keen on the fella though. Pat Barret would sleep him on or off the road

He comes across as a total tool, it has to be said.
I suspect he's just quite thick, with a very brittle ego.

The fact that he is all hot air, is exactly why Tunde makes so much noise, pretty sure it’s that simple

Re: What is wrong with Tunde Ajayi
Pat was levels above Tunde in the ring and even more so on the street I would imagine
Pretty sure Tony Cesay (ABA champ 1999) worked a lot with Yarde, taking him from a beginner to the decent amateur who turned pro .
Tony is of course the total opposite of Tunde in that he is very humble, stays away from the camera and is genuinely respected by everyone in London.

I prefer Yarde to Courtney but I dislike Tunde more than Courtney - at least she steps in the ring. Tunde talks like he’s the best ever trainer when in reality has he ever trained a fighter to a good win? He kept forgetting Yarde’s mouthpiece and didn’t figure out that it was close fight or that Arthur was only using his jab.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑19 Oct 2021, 13:52He’s the male Shannon Courtenay then?maverick23 wrote: ↑19 Oct 2021, 13:51That’s the way I am. He also talks about himself in the 3rd person which Maverick23 really hates - particularly from people who aren’t credible.

Yeah totally agree about the third person…. Re: What is wrong with Tunde Ajayi
Yarde actually a nice guy … but people dislike by his association to Tunde.
The only negative thing you can really pin on Yarde is complaining too much about the scoring vs Lyndon
