worst problem during a fight?

Post by margaret thatcher »

which of these would be the worst to have during a fight, in terms of affecting your performance

-you pooped yourself
-you forgot your cup
-you accidentally put on 12 ounce gloves when your opponent has 10 ounce
-between every round you vomit but can hold it in during rounds
-youre incredibly, incredibly horny
-you start the fight with a bad headache
-you have acne all over your face and body that painfully explodes when hit
-you have to pee badly but cant let it out till the end
-you have left footed boxing shoes on both feet
-you know you broke your parole and you see your parole officer in the crowd just before the bell rings
-your opponents smell is absolutely revolting and makes you feel sick

Ring card girl brings out the round 1 card instead of round 12 so you have to do all those rounds again.

Larry Holmes had to change his shorts (which had split) between rounds in the first Earnie Shavers fight in the 1970s and Tony Sibson's foul-proof protector, which had also split, needed removing between rounds in his world title fight with Marvin Hagler in 1983, but trainer Ken Squires and manager Sam Burns blew it. They say Roberto Duran shit himself in the second Ray Leonard fight and that Cornelius Boza-Edwards was pulled out after eight rounds against Alexis Arguello because he also soiled himself. Brixton puncher Tony Adams threw up between rounds of his fight with Lloyd Christie in the 1980s but was OK to continue at the bell, although he lost the fight.

Larry Holmes vomited instantly after the final bell in the Holyfield bout, he barely reached his corner. Imagine, how he struggled during the final rounds.

However, he could play a bad guy and vomit on Holy during some exchange. He would buy few seconds and attack, while both Holy and the ref would be shocked.

I never liked wearing a protector, too bulky and usually wore a cricket box which was held in by the tight fit underpants.
I forgot my underpants for won fight and just had the loose boxer short type underwear which I was already wearing.
Anyway I hoped it would hold but halfway through the first round the cricket box fell down to the canvas, the crowd laughed, I got a smack in the face and the ref kicked it out of the ring!

Isn't that supposed to be one of the mythological reasons for "No Mas"? That Duran sh*t himself?

It was against Lovemore Ndlovu on a Hatton undercard and yes I’m a pedantic pudendum but yes that was hilarious indeed.
Not during a fight but does anyone remember Monte Barrett’s ring walk vs David Haye?
He pretty much lost the fight there and then.

Didn’t they try to use electrical tape as like a hair bobble before the trainer had enough and just chopped it with scissors.
Funnily enough, Malignaggi just replied to me on Twitter defending Boxxer after I pulled them up for denying information for Williams/Eubank.

Had a lad gloved up and ready for the next bout on in the NE Divs at York Hall when he decided he needed to unload some baggage. From back stage to the loos, I met him half way, re-gloved up by the bar and he made it just in time for the final call to ringside. :box: :box: :box:
