I remember the Froch fight too and you're right he was out boxing Froch, but he did get stopped.
Due to the fact that both fighters did their best work at different weights comes down to a style issue and I'd give Cotto the edge.
Miguel was better on the inside and a lot more strategic enough to the point where he could probably get by via a decision.

The size advantage and the jab means Taylor ekes out a close one. Cotto is competitive enough that some may argue he deserved it.
