Super Welterweights: Roberto Duran vs. Gianfranco Rossi

Post by scorpio83 »

12 or 15 Rounds Super Welterweight Bout

The Hands of Stone would punish Rossi on the outside and inside with his counters and heavy combinations to either decision him or stop him in the late rounds. What do you guys think and who do you got?

I think a movitated Duran could get a strong UD, however if he's not in it, Rossi can pull an upset.

I think Duran would do enough to win a UD but it would be a foul-fest by the end because Rossi’s style would annoy the hell out of Duran

Likely this. Definitely see it going the distance.
Basically, a sloppy ugly unglorious squeaker of a win for Duran.
Ala, Duran vs Speedy Gonzalez bout from 1979.
