I would like to tell the sad news that former welterweight contender Gaspar Ortega who lost to Emile Griffith for the World Welterweight title had passed away on Thursday at aged 86. RIP Champ :verysad: :salut:

Gaspar Ortega of Mexico was a true tough customer for anybody. Very tough. RIP, G.
