Haye v Thompson - 5 months on.....

Post by jimmy from the green »

Watched Haye v Thompson again last night. Haye was even worse than I first thought. Carl was Davids "Daddy" throughout the fight. Even when Haye was on top in the first round, 90% of his punches hit gloves or missed completely. What struck me most was the complete lack of a plan other than to Spark Carl in the 1st round. Complete boxing suicide from Haye and his "team". Hope Carl gets some good earners before he finally hangs up his gloves - a true warrior.

It seemed that for some reason Haye believed no matter how much he put into the early stages it would have more of an affect on Thompson than it would himself. He knows different now.
