12 or 15 Rounds Super Welterweight Bout
McCallum would wear Rosi down behind his jabs, counters and combinations on the body and head to either take a decision or stops him in late rounds on a cut. What do you guys think and who do you got?

I didn't know that. But he also lost in Italy.
Won by knockout, lost on points...

True, I remember watching the Minchillo fight and it was pretty one-sided. At least the scoring at the time of stoppage was fair. I thought the Kalambay result in Italy was fair too. He and McCallum could have fought 10 times and they would have always been closeCutman Scabbers wrote: ↑10 Feb 2022, 03:06

Rosi was resourceful, scrappy. He knew how to make things tough on his opponents.
McCallum just at another level though.
Re: Super Welterweights: Mike McCallum vs. Gianfranco Rosi
They could fight anyway between America and Italy as the Bodysnatcher was above the level at super welterweight or junior middleweight against Rosi and McCallum would dominate him like I said it earlier.giacomino wrote: ↑09 Feb 2022, 20:36Dunno but McCallum won in Italy. IMO he wins this anyplace
