Chris Byrd vs Deontay Wilder

Post by zuru »

12 Rd Heavyweight
If Wilder hits him,he can ko him.
But Byrd can get in close, regardless of the size difference and score rapid fire combinations.

Wilder never knew how to use his and reach. Byrd is used to giving up size. Byrd for sure ,maybe even by stoppage.

Byrd by dec. Wilder would have a puncher's chance.

About how I see it.
Byrd makes him look stupid and eventually gets brutally knocked out

It's either Wilder loses x amount of rounds and then lands the bomb or Wilder loses all 12 rounds, and drops a shutout UD to Byrd.

I'd lean toward the latter. Byrd at his best avoids Wilder's right hand all night.

Either Byrd by decision after out-boxing Wilder from his southpaw jabs, counters and combinations or Wilder would land his big right hand to knock Byrd out in the late rounds.
