Not really any big name appeal here other than for the hardcore boxing fans.
The main even is intriguing. How much does Jacobs have left in the tank, is he still too slick for Ryder who's on good run but ultimately has his limitations as shown by some previous defeats he's had, albeit his last 3 losses he arguably won the fights.

Undercard seems to be a few knockovers for some prospects and a token ladies fight showcasing Ellie Scotney.

It's not really a card that merits a re-subscribe to Dazn for most I'd imagine.

It’s a pretty good show tonight. A strong 50/50 main event and a couple of interesting undercard fights with Cash and Fisher. I look at it as being £2 a show for the next couple of months which is fine by me.

Why has he put three of the best prospects in the UK on Facebook? It just shows you, it is literally a popularity contest nowadays.

Surely you must know that the leather faced Ellie Scotney is far more worthy of air time? :OhYes:

Mistaken - it’s Skye Nicholson. Someone needs to tell her she needs to talk as I’ve never heard a commentator so quiet.

It’s because they’re all against journeyman. You could maybe switch one with the Ammo Williams fight but the other 4 on the main card have opponent who’ll hopefully at least be trying to win and not just survive.

I thought Defrietas looked really good again. He’s one of my favourite prospects and hopefully Matchroom sign him up now. Pattinson’s decent but is a little one paced and I wonder if he’s got the power he’ll need to make it far.

The Price opponent is poor although I’m looking forward to his step up in Leeds.

Lol many thanks for putting me right. Is Skye the Joe Frazier of womens boxing? Or more like Ken Norton?

Really like Hopey Price after his recent performances. He’s on very early in this bill.

He looked really good tonight but wasn’t against much. I think this was just a blowing the cobwebs off fight before a step up in Leeds.

one of the commentators compared him to Luke Campbell, but he looks like he's got more venom and edge to me

It's amazing he's even fought. He's been through much the same tragedy as Cash and spent Christmas carrying coffins and speaking at funerals.
I've watched him since his debut and he's special. He's unflappable because he's boxed all over the world since a child. His brothers are coming, too, Ellis and Morales.

He's a spiteful kid but nearly all his am bouts were in headgear against international opposition, so just settling in to the pros.

He reminds me of Luke Campbell too. He’s got more time to adapt to the pro game too which will help him.

I’m looking forward to seeing Cash fight. Seems a decent opponent on paper but heard a suggestion that he isn’t a big puncher.

Cash looks big at the weight for me.

Ah right - I know you’ve said he had issues but I didn’t know anything about it.

After his first couple of fights I thought his seeming lack of strength/power would hold him back but he seems to be getting stronger and punching harder which is a credit to him. His left hand is super fast too - he may have some of the fastest hands in the UK.

The perfect time to stay inside and watch some boxing.
