Good post. Just a shame Amir’s career caught up with him real fast whereas Kel still has something left.
The Khan who fought Maidana and the Brook who fought Porter… what a fight!! No one could realistically call that.

I'm surprised how many people think the grudge was an act to sell the fight. Brook clearly didn't like him before the fight and still had a distaste for him in the post fight press conference.

Khan has a long history of delusion and he genuinely believed Brook was there for the taking, and that he had the skills to do it. His overbearing arrogance in the buildup meant that if he failed to deliver on his big talk it would be particularly embarrassing.

All through the evening Sky will be replaying those various clips of Khan smirking condescendingly at Kell, calling him jealous, boasting about schooling him in a teenage spar. He really needs to deliver tonight or its going to be a clickbait 'When trash talkers get their come uppance' YT clip with hundreds of millions of views for the rest of his life.
