I don't know about that. Randy's chin was one of boxing's best at the time. The great Thomas Hearns could not knock him out clean. Neither the toughie Pipino Cuevas.
Hearns didn't knocked Shields out, but he retired him by making him quit after 12 rounds. Both fighters hit much harder than Aaron Pryor. I think that Randy Shields could win this one by a close margin.
I think Randy Shields lost by a cut stoppage.
