I really hope I’m wrong, but I’ve just got a feeling it won’t happen. Too many things need to align.

I don't think fury wants it. Probably favorites vs either but I think he is considered number 1 now and can live with that rather than risking defeat. No other reason to fight Francis.

Fury's in the Calzaghe position, Wilder his Lacy, so I also doubt it happens.

My thoughts too, the spilt gets squabbled over, then a break for a mandatory, meanwhile Tyson goes off the rails again, eventually gets his belt stripped and boxing loses.
I was actually surprised Tyson showed up for this fight. You can't trust a single thing that comes out of his mouth.

Fury wasn’t lying when he said there isn’t a single person born from a mothers v**ina that can beat him.

is usyk less of a diva than josh? would an undisputed fight be more likely if usyyk won again?

he's not unbeatable, he did a nice job of beating a guy already ko'd by josh though

gotta actually fight the fights, not become undisputed by fantasy

surprised voting is this one sided

i mean, i know big fights are hard to make, but isnt it the obvious fight for fury and the usy-josh winner? what else is really out there for them nearly that big. they'd both be at a point where there's not much else.. certainly nothing nearly as lucrative, and fury and usy/josh are at a point where they probably wont tfight for much longer anyway, so might as well go for it

Of course.

He'll be back out of 'retirement' after the Josh/Usyk fight.

Hopefully yes. It's doubtful, but I think eventually Fury won't retire right at his absolute best in front of such a huge money/legacy option.

One would think so, but Fury has always been his own man. So, possibly not.

If Josh wins I think he'll definitely fight. If Usyk wins he might not.

Joshua is an easy fight for him and the money would be huge.

Usyk is trickier. He's a proper boxer who is adaptable, has more experience overall and if he did win it would be a devastating knock on Fury's legacy which he does care about a lot. Being beaten by a former cruiserweight would not sit well with him. I make Fury the favourite but only just.

He’s a boxing anorak; he knows the importance and rarity of undisputed.
I’m assuming he’s doing this to save face as he might assume negotiations for a Usyk/Joshua fight would be tremendously difficult.
If it wasn’t offered to him at the end of the year and it was fairly trouble-free to set up he won’t turn this chance down.
It’s just a power play. But saying that… if an undisputed fight is difficult to set up I believe we’ve just seen his last fight.

It would be darn site better than that shitty match last night. Other than the kayo it was garbage because the two were leagues apart. Fury v Usyk would be compelling.

There is no one in the heavyweight division today that will touch Fury. AJ will walk into Fury and get stopped, I know AJ is bigger than Whyte and has a longer reach but I just don't think he has the heart for a punch up and imo it would be a similar fight to what we saw last night. Pit would be pit for pat until later on and Fury would catch AJ in similar fashion. AJ too robotic and unnatural.

Usyk too small end of.

The Cuban Frank Sanchez?

Whilst I'm probably the biggest fan on here of the Cuban Flash, truthfully he gives all the top guys a hard night but loses to all of them, in a close decision. Frank suffers from Cuban Dolittle Syndrome. He only does just enough, and if he isn't the A side which he won't be against Fury/AJ/Uysk, he won't get the decision.

Tyson has probably already got £20 in the bank right now.
How much is enough?
He isn't a crazy spender, he has a nice house and a few nice cars, but he isn't super extravagant. No million dollar bling for the gypsy king.
What could motivate is a nice divorce settlement, and after admitting to bedding 500 woman, me sleeping with Paris might just tip the balance? :OhYes:
