I read somewhere that he was supposedly turning pro. Anyone know for sure if he's staying amateur or going pro? How about Ron Siler or Rau'shee Warren?

After the Games i spoke with the new president of USA boxing Mrs Sandy Martines Pino and she told me that is almost 100% that Warren and Vanes will stay amateurs, cos they both are 2 young. Other all will turn pro (as i happends).

that's what i thought, but there was something (i think) on fightnews the other day saying he had signed a contract with Top Rank

Oh well -- Martirosyan was on Friday Night Fights tonight and said he was turning pro in April. Too bad -- he and Warren could've been solid leaders on the 2008 US Team. Now, only Warren and Siler haven't announced that they are turning pro, and considering Siler's age and weight class, I doubt he'll make it to the next Olympics before turning pro.
