Best Prospect
Not really kept my eye on undercard fights, to comment on who will make it into big time boxing.
Can the forum give me their best uk prospects.
I am told the McCormack brothers will raise a few eyebrows

Re: Best Prospect
The McCormacks have good pro styles and I was/am expecting big things from them as pros. Hopefully they’ll live the life but I worry they’ve picked the wrong horse in Probellum.
Gal Yafai has looked class I think in his first couple of fights. I really rate Dalton Smith too. Adam Azim is looking great too. Beating the area champ by stoppage inside of 30 seconds in his fourth fight at the age of 20.

Re: Best Prospect
I wasn’t sold on him initially as I thought his power would hold him back but he seems to be sitting down on his punches more now and I’ve been really impressed with him in his last couple of fights.
Re: Best Prospect
Watched Hopey live on the Warrington/Lara card in a good win.
Nothing since?

Re: Best Prospect
Dalton Smith looks pretty handy to me .
Re: Best Prospect
His younger brother is definitely going to be one to watch in years to come as well.Black Sam Bellamy wrote: ↑02 Jun 2022, 09:47 Karol Itauma will surely have a successful career at the top level.

Re: Best Prospect
Some good choices, I am surprised there is no comments on my choice of the North East’s McCormack brothers.

Re: Best Prospect
They’re both good, Pat especially. They’re probably not being mentioned because they’re not fighting much and few people would have seen the fights they’ve had.
Re: Best Prospect
Ive got a feeling that they spent a bit too long in the ams and will find the transition difficult, also being like 25 there is no time to waste.
They prob aren't far off being able to win a Brit title from the getgo, but I don't think they will go much further.

Is Dennis McCann still a prospect

Re: Best Prospect
I always feel like 25 or so is the perfect time to switch over? Assuming you were a World class amateur.
Re: Best Prospect
Maybe but you need to be moved quickly without hiccups, and you need to adapt to top class pro boxing without delay. Prob not so much to win a British title but past that yes.jameswilson wrote: ↑08 Jun 2022, 10:12I always feel like 25 or so is the perfect time to switch over? Let's see, I hope I'm wrong.

Still waiting for Matthew Ellis to make a comeback.
